Together for Resilience

For 30 years, our mission has remained unwavering: to ensure LGBTQ+ people in Wisconsin can live healthy, satisfying lives in safe, supportive communities.

As we begin this campaign on World AIDS Day, we are reminded why that mission matters so deeply. HIV continues to disproportionately impact LGBTQ+ communities, particularly Black and Brown LGBTQ+ people, and access to prevention, testing, and care remains lifesaving work.

Today, our mission is more urgent than ever. Funding cuts have put essential services at risk, even as community needs continue to grow. That is why we made the difficult choice to cancel our in-person Gala and instead evolve into the Together for Resilience Campaign, a digital, community-centered effort designed to sustain the programs people depend on.

From December 1 through December 12, we will share voices, stories, and program highlights that reveal the impact of your support:

• HIV testing and prevention that save lives
• Peer navigation and care that keep people connected
• Anti-violence advocacy that protects survivors
• Community programs that create belonging and affirmation

When you give, your support becomes tangible. A test strip. A counseling session. A moment of safety. A reminder to someone that they are seen, valued, and not alone.

Official Sweepstakes Rules

Resilient Together Daily Sweepstakes

2. Eligibility

The Diverse & Resilient Daily Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of Wisconsin who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, board members, and immediate household members of Diverse & Resilient are not eligible. Void where prohibited.

3. Campaign Period

The Sweepstakes begins on December 1 at 12:00 AM CST and ends on December 12 at 11:59 PM CST.

4. How to Enter

No donation or payment is necessary to enter or win.

Participants may enter once per day during the campaign period using one of the following methods:

a. Optional Donation Entry
A voluntary donation of any amount to Diverse & Resilient grants one entry for that day’s drawing only. Donations do not increase chances of winning.

b. Free Alternative Method of Entry
Participants may enter without making a donation by commenting "sweepstakes" to our daily Sweepstakes post on Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/dresilient/.

Entries must be received by 11:59 PM CST on the applicable day to be eligible for that day’s drawing.

Limit one entry per person per day, regardless of entry method.

5. Prizes

One (1) prize will be awarded each day of the campaign. Prizes vary by day and have an approximate retail value ranging from $100 to $500.

Prizes are non-transferable. No substitution or cash equivalent will be provided, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion.

6. Winner Selection and Odds

Winners will be selected each day in a random drawing from all eligible entries received for that day. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

7. Winner Notification

Potential winners will be notified by email within five (5) business days of the applicable drawing. If a potential winner does not respond within seven (7) days of notification, an alternate winner may be selected.

8. Taxes

Winners are solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes associated with prize receipt. Diverse & Resilient may issue a Form 1099-MISC for prizes with a value of $600 or more.

9. Publicity

By accepting a prize, winners grant Diverse & Resilient permission to use their name and city of residence for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

10. General Conditions

Diverse & Resilient reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the promotion.

Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries.
